West Ham United eye Trevor Chalobah’s transfer amid Chelsea’s pre-season snub.

West Ham have been linked with Chelsea defender Trevor chalobah having been snubbed by the manager from participating in the US preseason tour, and it seems the new manager would be looking to activate his move this summer as he reports that his current squad is increasingly heavy.

The Englishman made his way to West London right from his tender age; having trained with the U18 team, he got promoted to the senior squad, where he represented the Blues under Mauricio Pochetinno last season.

With reports claiming that the Hammers are open to talks for the Englishman, Julen Lopetegui may successfully add more depth to his defense ahead of next season.

Meanwhile, the player has rejected many offers coming from other Premier League clubs amid Nottingham Forest and Crystal Palace offers turned down by the player earlier this month.

Selling Trevor Chalobah would mark a clear profit for the Blues, and due to their recent financial strain, they may wish to make his move on the card to raise funds for more eye-catching transfers.

Daniel Davis reported for The Daily Mail (page 66) on July 23 that the Irons are linked to the English defender who the Blues are willing to sell this summer.

Chalobah could prove to be a perfect addition for the Hammers alongside Kilman, with both players comfortable with the ball at their feet.

This would certainly allow Lopetegui to carry out his tactical vision better than with the likes of Kurt Zouma or Konstantinas Mavrapanos at center-back..
