Cole Palmer Injury Update
Cole Palmer Injury Update
The Blues recorded their first win since the beginning of the season, with the manager hoping to take on the Wolves next with the same spirit.
Chelsea secured a clean 2-0 win against Servette last night, with the final whistle seeing Cole Palmer holding his thigh off the pitch with the impression of having some discomfort in his foot.
Cole was a very crucial player enduring an underwhelming campaign under former boss Mauricio Pochetinno last season, and it seems he would be a doubt in featuring against Wolves, as Enzo Maresca admitted he isn’t sure that he is severely injured.
He said to Football London: “Cole, he felt something, but he looks fine. They already checked him; he looks fine and okay. Hopefully there is no problem, and he can be available for Sunday’s game.”
It is not worth thinking about for Chelsea fans where they would have been last season without Palmer’s brilliance.
Even with the plethora of options at Maresca’s disposal this season, the England international will still be one of the first names on the teamsheet right now.
Chelsea may decide to use Noni Madueuke instead of Parker against Wolverhamton in their Premier League game to avoid risking the England star, though more are yet to be unveiled in due course.
